Coolum is no longer just a surfing and golfing mecca, but still has a carefree holiday atmosphere distinct from its neighbouring beach towns. Its long shopping and entertainment strip has a stunning outlook across a large beachfront park, and its leafy backstreets quietly traverse this beautiful coastal town in constant view of Mount Coolum, a grand volcanic dome that presides over the landscape. As usual, the surf Club has the best position. It used to be said that you couldn't get a decent cup of coffee here, but not now - we are spoilt for choice and some great restaurants as well.
Coolum Village offers a full-line Coles supermarket featuring an in-store butcher, seafood, delicatessen, bakery, floral stand and fresh food ‘market stall’ fruit and vegetable area. The supermarket is supported by 20 specialty stores including services such as Australia Post, Live Life Pharmacy, 7 Day Medical surgery, CBA and Suncorp Bank, Hairdressers, Bottle shop and Newsagency.
The centre offers ample on site car parking protected by shade sails and dual access from Birtwill and Margaret Streets.
